Meet Juanita Vasquez of Lace, Lashes N’ Lipstick

Today we’d like to introduce you to Juanita Vasquez.

Juanita, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
First and foremost, I would like to thank the Lord for blessing me with this opportunity. Thank you to Voyage for even considering me. This is such an amazing opportunity and I hope that I’m qualified enough to be featured.

My name is Juanita Vasquez. I am a 22 year old makeup, fashion-maniac mother. I started my page Lace, Lashes N’ Lipstick, with the intent of going live to create makeup looks, to host giveaways and give back to those who supported me in every way possible. I created my page on October 29, 2018. This year on October 29, 2019, will be my pages 1st anniversary. It has grown so much in such a short amount of time and I can’t be more grateful for all the love and support I have received.

Nothing makes me feel better than giving back, helping and inspiring others. When my followers tell me I inspire them to do this or that, that makes me extremely happy to know I’m teaching them to the best of my ability and giving someone some kind of help they need to be better in the beauty industry. I’m no pro, but I learn as I go, as everyone does. I believe that makeup is art, and you should express yourself in any way shape or form. There’s no wrong or right way to makeup. Our canvas(face) is for us to create, to be bold, to inspire. WE ALL have the potential to create beautiful things in this life. Life isn’t always about finding yourself, truly, but about creating yourself.

I am a firm believer in Jesus Christ, and I believe I was created to create, to teach, to give, to learn, to love and to inspire. I am very thankful, incredibly grateful and unbelievably blessed.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It honestly hasn’t been an easy road. You have to learn to deal with a lot of negativity from different people. A lot of people want to see you fall and never doing better than them, but you have to learn that life isn’t always going to be easy. No matter what you do or what area you work in.

I’ve faced struggles from my own friends and family members, but thankfully it hasn’t let me down. Til this day, I’m grateful for everything I’ve been through since creating my page. Every step has been a learning experience..

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Lace, Lashes N’ Lipstick story. Tell us more about the business.
Lace, Lashes N’ Lipstick is a beauty-fashion related business. I have my own lash line, my own merch and cosmetic line coming very soon. I am also a reseller of high makeup, and of course, I go live to create makeup looks to help and teach others.

What makes me the most proud is the fact that I’m able to give clients and customers what they want and need. My goal is to make sure every single one of my supporters is 110% fully satisfied.

I think what sets my following apart from others is that I’m passionate about what I do, even if I’m not the best at it I try and give it my all no matter what.

Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
