Kelly, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I got into Real Estate six years ago. I had to reverse engineer what I wanted my professional and personal life to look like. I knew I wanted a family, I knew I wanted to help others, and I knew I wanted to be able to work for myself. I kept falling back on real estate. After getting my license and doing my first few transactions I developed a true passion for this industry. A lot of people think realtors just open the doors for clients and facilitate a transaction. To me, it is so much more than just that. I get to help people visualize and plan their lives in their most intimate place. I genuinely care about each and every one of my clients and helping them make the smartest real estate decisions for themselves and their families. Having this mentality has helped me grow my business organically to where it is today.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
This career is a roller coaster. So quite the opposite of a smooth road.

Everyone seems to be in the business these days so the competition is very high. Staying true to myself and not forgetting the why I am in this business has helped keep me steady and passionate about what I do.

You definitely grow thick skin in this industry.
