Meet Keri Signoracci of Integrative Relationship Coaching in Boulder

Today we’d like to introduce you to Keri Signoracci.

Keri, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I was always an observer of relationships. Coming from an Italian family in NY, there were many to witness. My family had an array of complicated dynamics. In high school, I took my first psychology class and immediately felt inspired, and like I was in familiar territory.

Has it been a smooth road?
Hell no! Do smooth roads exist? While my family experiences provided me with a diverse and perfect blueprint for being of service to counsel people in their relationships, they also presented plenty of personal obstacles that I had to examine and heal before I felt empowered enough to be an appropriate guide. My first relationships in high school were conveniently dysfunctional, so I was able to get those out of the way pretty quickly. However, in order to help others, I needed to learn the very tools that are integral to achieving successful relationships. It took many hardships and heartbreaks in order to manifest the optimal breeding ground for healing, growth, and transformation.

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Integrative Relationship Coaching story. Tell us more about the business.
My business is called Integrative Relationship Coaching. I am a Therapeutic Relationship and Couples Coach. I specialize in helping people in crisis. The clients I see are usually in a place where they are facing the precipice of their relationship or their life. They may want to get a divorce but are too afraid to leave. They could be trying to repair their marriage after a devastating affair. They may be venturing out into the dating world, but lack confidence and empowerment. It could also be as simple as needing some tools in order to communicate better or achieve more intimacy and connection. I am most proud of my ability to normalize the deepest and darkest struggles that people endure. Most people are very ashamed of the pain and difficulties that arise in their relationships. It is my goal to neutralize the shame and self-judgment that often sabotage the healing process. Illuminating the shadows that lurk within the depths of ourselves and our relationships and feeding them compassion is my best asset. I think what sets me apart is utilizing the many modalities of training that I have completed such as coaching, therapeutic training, psychology, mindfulness disciplines such as meditation, and somatic practices like yoga/breathing. The result is a holistic synthesis that allows clients to go deeper and more quickly than traditional psychotherapy or coaching.

How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
My guess is that coaching will be equal to counseling or therapy. Because it is so specialized and ideally designed to have clients look inward while also taking swift action, it can save a great deal of time and money. I think working virtually is another trend that will continue to expand. People love the ability to do their deepest and most transformative healing work in the comfort of their own homes.
