Meet Madeline Hammer of Local Logic, Inc.

Today we’d like to introduce you to Madeline Hammer.

Madeline, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
My entry into technology for business began in the mid-nineties when I started work at a competitive local exchange carrier… i.e., the folks competing with the local phone company! I was hooked. I really enjoyed bringing new technology to the businesses who wanted to do more and be the next generation. When Trulia opened its Denver offices in 2011, I immediately interviewed and began working as a sales manager focused on delivering the next generation of online marketing to individual agents. I’ve since moved over to supporting brokerages and franchises and bringing them the same technical advantages at a broader scale.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Developing a strong go to market strategy when bringing change and technology to businesses is not easy. Pricing and delivery and product nuances are tricky. The wrong product and market fit will be a disaster for customers and employees.

Local Logic, Inc. – what should we know? What do you do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
Local Logic is a location intelligence company founded in Montreal. We serve the real estate brokerage and development industries. We help these businesses bring a location to life on their websites to engage and draw in customers. We also sell the data sets. We are known for our heat map technology (which can be customized by the user) and our SEO strategy products. We are founded by city planners by trade and our products all orient to lat and long, so they are extremely efficient to install!

What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
The transition for me from telecommunications into real estate technology has been fun and fruitful. I love the people who serve the industry.
