Meet Michelle Peiffer of LoveOils.LiveOils.

Today we’d like to introduce you to Michelle Peiffer.

Michelle, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
Oh my gosh! Where to begin!! This all started when I was pregnant with my first daughter, who will by 8 in October. Once I met with the OB and heard the giant list of things you cannot eat, drink, put on your body or do, I started to question it all. Why is it not good in pregnancy? As I researched, I found most of this stuff you should never put on yourself or your babies! They all had consequences on your health. I vowed to not ever put any of it on my body or my babies and I went searching for the most non-toxic, plant-based products I could find. We were shifting it all. From the food we ate to the products we used. It was a long journey as so many companies were untruthful about what was actually in their products. I didn’t grow up in an environment where food was nutrition, plants are medicine and knowing that God laid everything on this earth a purpose. But my paradigm starting to shift, and it changed everything for our family.

It wasn’t until I was invited to an essential oils class that it all really began. After my second daughter was born, we found out quickly it wasn’t going to be an easy road for her. We found out she was anaphylactic to dairy at 2 months old and the list began to get longer and longer as she got older. So, when I heard about this class and its potential, I jumped at it. I fell in love with the possibilities and jumped on board. Our family needed a lot of healing and this was the beginning to our answers. Now we would not only be using plant-based tools for our health but they offered everything we needed for the toxic free home we were looking for, for so long. See up until then we either went without a lot of things, or I made them because I couldn’t find products that I agreed with all of their ingredients. So when I found a company that aligned it all, I fell in love and not really knowing, I started a business I didn’t even know could exist.

It evolved from just a mom looking for a healthier way of living for her family, to impacting hundreds of people in shifting their lives too. I now get the privilege of doing this full time, while homeschooling my girls. Teaching others to live a toxic-free lifestyle, just like we do, and take care of their families using natural remedies and essential oils.

This business led me to learn about self-care and personal development, which prior to it, I didn’t even know what that meant. I have completely shifted my mindset and the person I used to be, into a confident and empowered woman. I found so much healing in it that I now love to teach others just how truly amazing they are, and how to gain control of their thought life. That it’s ok to love themselves for who they are and take time for them. We cannot give from empty vessels, so we have to fill up our soul cup to be able to give to those we love. We are worth the time it takes to shift us into the best versions of ourselves we can be. So that we can lead with love and show other people what it can look like. They don’t have to feel worthless and stuck, like I felt so many years ago.

Just wait, the journey isn’t over yet. Recently I have teamed up with my sister and we launched a Colorado-based CBD company that aligns with all our value in healthy non toxic living. There were no companies we felt met our standards in non toxic living. Our ingredients are plant-based healing to help your body thrive. My sister, and partner, is an industry expert for the last decade. So together we took our markets and combined them to have clean, pure, nontoxic products for people to use and love.

Together, my sister and I are opening a co-op type space here in Denver that should launch in the next few months. With a space for hosting events, a retail shop where we showcase how easy it is to switch to a healthy lifestyle, and weekly classes where we are educating on things like essential oils, CBD, toxic-free living, composting, nutrition and will pull in other business owners from around the community to share their expertise. The warehouse is currently under construction and we are excited for this space to help the community get education and thrive! We have our first community event in September for women’s empowerment retreat. We are starting the classes up now in part of the space, as the rest get finished. We didn’t want to wait on people getting the education they deserve. All classes, unless they require supplies like for our DIY, will be free to the community. I am an empowered mom who chose to shift our lifestyle for what I saw was a broken way, I was forced in even deeper with two children who had severe needs that we had to start making the shift for. One born without a heartbeat and not breathing who turned into a thriving eight-year-old. And a five-year-old who I fight for because I have seen her suffer with severe food allergies, gut health and genetic mutations. All of these trials have pushed me forward into being a voice ready to be heard. Showing people what life can truly look like when you live with intention and purpose. Each day our business grows, and our impact widens and we give Thanks to God for opening every door along the way.

Has it been a smooth road?
Oh my no, life comes with many trials. I had to overcome some major limiting beliefs. I was stuck in a headspace that created a disaster in my life. Where I constantly was self-sabotaging my goals, thinking I wasn’t worthy, and quickly realized I wasn’t alone in this thinking. As I learn more and more on how to shift my mindset, I felt led to bring it to others teaching classes and using social media to inspire change. So that everyone too can let go of the beliefs they hold and go after the life they deserve to live.

My business has bounced up and down. As all business growth does. The last year I have focused intentionally on growing myself, and those around me, really making an impact on others lives. I still struggle with internal self-talk, it will never go away, but what used to take me months to get over now takes me a day or two. I can get back to work not letting my own self-talk, or anyone else’s, keep me down. It’s a constant battle that with prayer, healthy tools, and an amazing tribe, I always get back up.

We have seen new challenges not just in how to lead a team and inspire them to stay inspired but building a business and product from the ground up. Not letting excuses stop us from the path we’re on. But using each other to find our way to the top, grabbing everyone we can along the way to join with us.

The BEST part of what I do is getting to hear to stories of overcoming. Whether its physical, spiritual, or mental. When people come to you with their success story it makes every bit of the work worth it! For my health and wellness business, teaching people how to live a toxic-free lifestyle, controlling what goes not just in their body but on their body and inside their homes. Giving them tools to use at home to support their body and health so they can feel better and thrive. Showing them how to set goals, take control of their life, and create a business just like we are. Showing others do live with passion and love others is one of my favorite things! To watch their lives, shift alongside ours.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
I am a Colorado native, born and raised in Lakewood, but now own acreage up in our beautiful mountains. But my heart is in this state. Denver is such a diverse community where so many cultures come together. It’s the beautiful thing about our city and state. So many cultures share space and it’s a beautiful place to be. With amazing farm to table restaurants, mom groups, parks, and more. I can’t possibly choose one thing I love most.

What has been hard to watch are some of the hardships that go along with the growth we’re facing. The trash and pollution; the amount of homeless people not being taken care of, and the land being overdeveloped. It’s been an adjustment to watch this city flourish. But we embrace it because it’s just more people for us to reach and help.
