Meet N3PTUNE

Today we’d like to introduce you to N3PTUNE.

Thanks for sharing your story with us N3PTUNE. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I been singing and writing songs my whole life. I went it to Denver School of the Arts for a semester and learned essential techniques I still use today, but ultimately left due to the toxic environment. I went to Lynx Summer Camp at UCD two years in a row. I learned about music marketing, music business and vital information I needed to further myself as a singer/songwriter & producer. I started producing in high school and put out my first project a year after graduating. I starting performing at Denver Art Society with Awesome Aux LLC. and really got my start there.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
This has been rough, but I’m grateful for every experience! Being young, black and flamboyant, people constantly project their thoughts of what you should and shouldn’t do. On top of just working two jobs, doing music full time and trying to deal with everyday struggles it can get pretty hectic. But it’ll all pay off sooner than later and I know I’m learning what I need to learn early on.

Please tell us about your work.
I’m a singer/songwriter, producer (music & film), dancer, model, actor and director. I’m most proud of the exponential growth of my work in the past three years. I am most best known for my eccentric outfits, catchy music, strong voice and my performances. What’s sets me apart from everyone else, is that I’m a perfectionist. I don’t stop until I feel something is just right and even then I will go back and make adjustments to my work. I always see room for improvement.

Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
My favorite memory or memories were going to my cousin’s house. It had that stability that I always yearned for and even to this day there’s nothing but love in that house. Also playing my grandma’s piano and the memories I have of my grandpa.
