Meet Paul Talbot of Infused, A CBD Marketplace in Downtown Boulder – West Pearl Area

Today we’d like to introduce you to Paul Talbot.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Paul. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
Over the last 17 years since I started my first business as a Massage Therapist. I have been fascinated with doing what inspires me. From Massage Therapy to racing triathlon and bikes to running a creative agency and a digital ad tech business, I have always done some pretty interesting things. CBD is probably the most fascinating. With a background in holistic health, I am always fascinated by what plants can do and how we can learn to heal ourselves.

Infused, A CBD Marketplace opened online in early March 2019 and has always been about finding only the best companies and products on the market to help folks with their health and wellness. In October of 2019, we opened our first store off of Pearl Street in Downtown Boulder, to better engage the community and give folks a place to come and feel comfortable shopping and talking about CBD. Our marketplace was created with simplifying the CBD buying experience, we do the research and pick the companies that in our minds are leading the way with unique products and formulations. We stay away from gimmicks and might have around 35 companies right now we work with but they are all pretty unique or fill a hole.

When you come into our store in Boulder, you will find it warm and welcoming. We are not a head shop or a grocery store, we are a specialized store focusing on CBD. We aren’t a cannabis company looking to spread its wings, we aren’t a clothing store looking to sell trendy products. We are unique and care about your health and wellness, we want you to feel better and understand that CBD is not a miracle remedy. So come shop, talk and learn with us, let us share our knowledge with you and work with you to better help you help yourself.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
As a small business that does not believe in outside funding, we struggle a lot. We struggle with growth and marketing and everything else because we have bills to pay and not a lot of capital to make it work. Though with heart and soul we find away. Out of the five businesses I have had in the last 17 years, CBD is the most complicated. We have to fight to get our name out there, compete with the same brands we sell and also deal with the complications around banking, credit card processing and other things most businesses don’t even think about. So being a reputable store that is self-funded and cares about its customers and not just selling products it can always be a challenge.

Please tell us about Infused, A CBD Marketplace. What should we know?
Infused, A CBD Marketplace is the only CBD company in the state doing what we do, we specialize in premium Cannabinoid products and CBD companies paving the way in their own right. We focus on aesthetic and packaging first and then we ask what makes this product different and how does it help our consumers. Then when you come into our store, we ask questions and provide suggestions to what might help you based on our experience and knowledge about the products we carry.

We call ourselves an experiential CBD store for a reason because when you come into Infused, A CBD Marketplace – we want you to understand what you are buying, what it tastes like and why we carry it. We want you to understand how different herbs and cannabinoids can help you heal and why.

What sets us apart is that we aren’t here to sell you products, we are here to help you help yourself in finding your path to wellness.

Whether that comes from us or not, that is fine but we don’t want to sell you something just to make a buck. We truly care and want you to feel better.

Growing up in Florida and playing with crocodiles in the everglades.
