Meet Quinn Gary

Today we’d like to introduce you to Quinn Gary.

Quinn, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I’m a passionate makeup artist looking to enhance the world’s beauty one face at a time. I’m a Denver based artist, but willing to travel anywhere the world takes me. I’ve been in love with art, fashion, and make up my entire life.

From endless hours as a child creating my first clothing line ” Yo!”, drawing paper dolls with a signature look, fashion design, modeling, and now my newest journey makeup artistry. While pursuing modeling I quickly realized my passion for makeup and from that day forward my life changed. I’ve now decided to turn my passion into a career.

I’ve been trained by some of the best makeup artists such as, but not limited to, Floriane David, Rod Maxwell, and Ve Neill while studying at Monster Makeup FX, Makeup Forever Academy, Kryolan Pro, Cinema Makeup School, and CMC Makeup School.

Has it been a smooth road?
It has definitely been a tough journey getting into a career and industry that is very competitive and saturated, my biggest struggles have been trying to find new and creative ways to get my work seen locally.

We’d love to hear more about your work.
I have a keen eye for detail and enjoy working with colors, texture, and designing looks outside of the box. I’m skilled in special effects applications, but my specialty is beauty, bodypaint, and artistic makeup. I am most proud of the relationships that I have built with everyone I’ve had the opportunity to work with. I believe that my professionalism, attitude, attention to detail, and creative style sets me apart from others.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
Being a native from Denver I absolutely love that my city has some of the nicest people that you’ll meet! Denver is beautiful with fresh air, and great scenery. What I least like about my city is that I’ll never know what weather to expect when getting off of work.
