Meet Ray Kokinos of Your Castle Real Estate

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ray Kokinos.

Ray, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I started in Real Estate in 2015 after a friend suggested that it would be a good fit for me. I had a couple of businesses in Colorado. Your Castle is a great brokerage with perhaps the best support and professional development in Colorado. In 2016 I was able to found Go Play of Colorado, a non-profit that raises money through fun events. The proceeds are given to people and organizations that impact the local community.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It took me a while to find the right broker to associate with. Your Castle has the best infrastructure I have found and that has reflected in growth of my business.

Please tell us more about your work, what you are currently focused on and most proud of.
Moving people from the metro area to more rural settings like the foothills has become my thing. Relationships develop with the people I work with and have opened so many wonderful doors to my family and me. When I have a charity event, my people come out and support what we are doing. Spending a day doing an activity with clients, old and new, has been a blast as well. Weddings, hiking, skiing, dinners and picnics; it’s more than just a business. My clients have touched my life and I ensure that they get the very best inside my industry.

Any shoutouts? Who else deserves credit in this story – who has played a meaningful role?
My wife, Sue, as well as my dear friend Barry Donovan. The people from Your Castle Real Estate, like Lon Welsh and Jeremy Lambert, are always there to support professional growth. My real estate coach Alexis Shoop has been instrumental in serving people better.
