Meet Rhema Peterson and Andrea Lebeau of Mile High Murder Podcast in Northern Colorado

Today we’d like to introduce you to Rhema Peterson and Andrea Lebeau.

Rhema and Andrea, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
We like to make sure people know; we aren’t professionals, we’re just bored housewives.

We are both mom’s of littles, Andrea has three kids including twin boys, and Rhema has two girls. We are also both business owners.

We started our True Crime Podcast because of an interest in missing person cases and true crime facts. We would discuss theories of who could have murdered Jon Benet Ramsey or what could have happened to Madeleine McCann.

This turned into an idea to record these conversations for a Podcast, we decided we wanted to be different and just cover Colorado True Crime.

We take turns looking into cases and recording as we share our findings with each other, We are lighthearted as we walk through some heavy cases with our listeners.

A new episode comes out every Wednesday morning on Apple, Spotify, Stitcher or where you prefer to listen!

Has it been a smooth road?
We released our first 3 episodes on May 15th, 2019, so we are still fairly new to the game.

The first few episodes are rough as we found our groove, but we definitely have enjoyed the process and our fans have been so gracious toward us.

One of the hard things is that there aren’t as many resources out there for how to start and maintain a podcast so there is a lot of trial and error as we figure things out by ourselves.

Please tell us more about what you do, what you are currently focused on and most proud of.
We are a podcast that solely focuses on Colorado True Crime.

We have found that there are so many podcast’s that do all the same stories and though its fun to listen to other points of view on a case, we love being able to highlight cases you have never heard of that happened right in your backyard.

We share these stories in a lighthearted setting where you feel like you are talking with your best friends about these cases.

We also want to bring awareness to local organizations that specialize in mental health treatment, victims of violence or abuse or crime prevention and education.

As we get into the next seasons of our podcast, we will have a segment where we share some of these local organizations with our listeners.

We recently did our first live recording at WeldWerks Brewing in Greeley and plan to do more in the future.
