Meet Ronnie Harvey of The Apprentice of Eace in Denver

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ronnie Harvey.

Ronnie, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
Looking back on where we came from to where we are at now, it’s like a Devine intention. I got out of prison 2012 and soon after meeting my business partner and brother Pos, ultimately as we shared ideas and got to know each other, the Apprentice of Peace was born.

Purposely we sat out to become the guardians and champions of the community. The Apprentice of Peace is not a title we take lightly, it will become the standard of change for the future.

Our formula the realization committed effort and accepting principles of change lead us to become or best selves and in that process, we discover how important our wellness is.

We started teaching tai chi to the elders of the community in community centers around Denver which lead to us teaching in Denver and Aurora public schools.

As our program has grown, we went from being in 4 schools to serving in our five year time more than 20 schools and programs which Again lead us to develop a more in-depth way to connect with the youth which we came up with the laws of life.

Leadership,arts,wellness and skill trades which we engage youth in really understanding their potential to be their best selves.

This year we are preparing to work in overt 25 schools and we are looking to develop AOP Spokesman to spread the word of Peace. There’s so much more to this story this just beaks the top of the ice berg.

Has it been a smooth road?
It hasn’t been a smooth road but it had been divine for every misstep was a place we was suppose to stumble into.

For everyone we’ve met along the way, every door opened has come with the dedication to do the work knowing the hard work well pay off.

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into The Apprentice of peace story. Tell us more about the business.
We are the Apprentice of peace youth organization which is established under the Apprentice of Peace.
We started as a wellness studio teaching our elders tai chi and Qi gong.

We expanded into teaching our formula into the school system.

Becoming direct advocates of youth.

We specialize in the L.A.W.S of life leadership, Arts, wellness and skill trades, what are we known for we are known for showing up if you ask of us well be there to provide great programming that serves the best for the youth.

My proudest moment as a business owner is being able to pay my employees and myself while making a difference in the community.

What sets me apart from others I could go on and on describing the difference but I’d rather highlight the things that make us the same, we are here to serve the youth in every capacity and we are open to all partnerships.

How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
I see my business growth in this industry to become the foundation of a new lifestyle of peace, responsibility and self accountability.

The next 5 to 10 the Apprentice of Peace Will be a household name for the people who are doing the work for change.
