Meet Stacy Devanney of Yogi Life in Aurora

Today we’d like to introduce you to Stacy Devanney.

Stacy, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
Life Lover, Yogini, Earth Walker, Proud Mama of 4, Planet Protector, Entrepreneur, Fitness Enthusiast, Lover of Music & Dance, Art Fanatic, Wifey, Family Devotee, Spiritual Warrior, Light Seeker, Mala Maker, Gemstone Collector, Humble Teacher, Grateful Student, Happiness Promoter, Yogi Life Nutrition Visionary and Colorado Native.

I received my Yoga Teachers license in June of 2017. Once I started teaching yoga, I began to think about how I could tap into the yoga community in other ways than just teaching. That’s when I came up with Yogi Life. Yogi Life is a line of Plant-Based supplements/vitamins/nutrients that help Yogis feel amazing both in and off the mat. My line promotes overall health and is vegan and vegetarian-friendly. I sell my products online and in yoga studios around the Denver metro area. My hope is to get Yogi Life products into many studios across the country.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
My biggest struggle is being a one-woman show. Currently, I am the only employee so finding the balance between home life, my day job and going out to promote and sell Yogi Life has been hard. For now, it is a slow moving machine.

Yogi Life – what should we know? What do you do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
What sets Yogi Life apart from other supplement companies is that we are the first company to create a supplement line specifically for yoga practitioners. My line includes Ayurveda herbs/roots, which a lot of Yogis love and use as medicine. My line is vegan and vegetarian-friendly which is great because a true yogi does not eat meat.

Yogi life was featured in three issues of Yoga Journal in 2018/2019, we are so proud of that!

We are proud to be a local Colorado company and we support the Yoga community in every way possible. You can catch us at Friday Night Yoga Club and at Yoga Rocks the Park. Of course, we support local yoga studios where our products are sold. We also give a part of our proceeds every month to the Gathering Place in Denver which is a daytime refuge for women, children, and transgenders.

What is “success” or “successful” for you?
Success to me is being happy, doing what I love and helping people achieve the best version of themselves through health and wellness
