Meet Steph Gray

Today we’d like to introduce you to Steph Gray.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Steph. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I started in real estate about two years ago and haven’t looked back. I knew I wanted to help people in real estate when I worked in banking (over 15 years ago! 😱); it took me some time to bring this dream to life – I’m here & fiercely committed!

I started out in banking as a teller when I was 18, worked my way through being a personal banker, an assistant manager & eventually a branch manager of some of the largest name banks around. When the mission of banking started to change, I decided to change my career; I held various positions in different industries, until finally landing in real estate. This is the very best career choice I’ve made, and I love every bit of it.

As a Realtor, I am passionate about protecting my clients & partners and helping them bring their dreams to life.

Has it been a smooth road?
I have run into several learning moments during my tenure as a Realtor: being certain to have all the inspection data back before writing up an Inspection Objection, not taking for granted that, when a person asks real estate questions, they will choose me as their Realtor, the importance of follow-up and how very valuable patience is.

We’d love to hear more about your work.
As a Realtor®, the core of my business is to bring value to my clients during one of the most important investments of their lifetime. I’m determined to guide & counsel them through the emotional process of selling or buying a home, whether it’s their first, third or even an investment property. I believe that coming from a place of serving them, knowing ultimately they are making all the decisions, it’s my duty to ensure they have all the best information & possible outcomes.

Is our city a good place to do what you do?
In my area of Longmont, I believe there is a lot of potential for people who are willing to work hard; there seems to be a myth that real estate is an easy-peasy kind of business – it certainly is not! So much work goes into just one transaction that is behind the scenes; it’s our jobs to handle all of the ups & downs all the while keeping the boat on an even keel for our clients. Those who are willing to put in their time & efforts, who can adapt to the ever-changing industry & continuously educate themselves will find success and hopefully enjoy a lot of it along the way!
