Meet Todd Reed

Today we’d like to introduce you to Todd Reed.

Todd, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I have always had a passion for making things and stumbled across metalsmithing and jewelry making. while working as a leathersmith assistant I picked up some silversmithing and got totally hooked, turned it into gold work and discovered using raw diamonds and carved a little niche and went build this little business. it was my goal in 1992 to be the best, to be associated with the finest design, craftsmanship and experience in the world. I have had a solid team of artists as well as sales and office associates since 1996 and continue to focus on the same principles as when I started.

Has it been a smooth road?
I believe there are always challenges when innovating and trying to run a business from a creative passion. I’d say the largest struggle is balancing the what others what you to be VS. what you really want to be. And accepting that change happens and that trying and failing and trying again is all a very essential part of the business.

We’d love to hear more about your business.
I am a luxury jewelry designer. My brand stands for one of a kind and unique art and experience. what sets us apart is our very business experience. we are a design company in every way. Every part of our process is unique. unique and alternative Bridal jewelry as well as bespoke collectable works dominate our collection.

Is our city a good place to do what you do?
I think, I live and work in a great city and will keep trying to get exposed to more of it all the time. Boulder is very supportive to local and small business.
