Meet Trailblazer Casey Feicht

Today we’d like to introduce you to Casey Feicht.

Casey began her career as a personal trainer right out of college. She had a passion for fitness and health and soon found mindfulness, yoga and life coaching. She always followed her passion and continue moving through the challenges as they arose.

Casey the creator of Kids Yoga Guide is passionate about teaching kids yoga, training others to teach kids yoga and serving the next generation in living a peaceful and healthy lifestyle.

Casey’s passion for kids yoga grew out of her love for yoga and for her daughter Gracee. Casey has been teaching yoga since 1998 and has experienced tremendous personal and spiritual transformation, so much that she couldn’t help but share it with kids.

Casey is a Spiritual Practitioner and diving into her receive her Masters, in Spiritual Consciousness. She believes an all experience peace within ourselves and finds peace on earth if we each do our part!

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Casey’s life has been anything but a smooth road!

Casey has lived 9 lives, barely surviving childhood, overcoming adversity.
She came into this world with one HUGE defect, It was so essential to life, as without it, I would die. Sounds dramatic right? Well, it is, she could not breathe! She almost died, so many times, in fact, I actually did die. Science calls it an NDE – Near Death Experience, and she lived to tell about it.
Casey survived a traumatic childhood of life-threatening fatal, Asthma.

This leads to a life of running away from the pain. Drugs and alcohol took over her life and her twenties were full of slow suicidal addiction. Gratefully, yoga and recovery came into her life and she is grateful to have been recovering for the last 17 years+.

The challenges didn’t end there, there was divorce, single motherhood, an ADHD diagnosis in her early 40’s and yet she continues to literally transform into a powerhouse of inspiration. Successful, grounded and flowing, Casey is doing the work daily.

Her advice to other women is to never give up, feel the feelings and follow any form of passion you feel and keep going, as it changes and ebbs and flows along the way!

We’d love to hear more about Kids Yoga Guide.

So much of the media coverage is focused on the challenges facing women today, but what about the opportunities? Do you feel there are any opportunities that women are particularly well-positioned for?
Casey feels like there are so many opportunities for a woman to dive into their passions, find their community and share the love!

As mothers and caretakers, she believes that women have the special skills to bring forth more balance, self and communal responsibility and can shift the world to bring forth the peace that we desire.
