I have created a fertility protocol which is now used around the world.

Has it been a smooth road?
I was diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue in 1989, was working in Western Medicine. Fell through the crack of Western medicine, had acupuncture and got my life back, went back to school at 39, graduated from acupuncture school in 1994, came to springs on a whim 1995. My goal was to specialize in sports medicine, fertility work fell into my lap (was in a high-speed rollover 1.5 years into starting my practice, rehabbed for more than one year). Met the local Reproductive Medicine physician, began integrating East West, conducted research on combining IVF and acupuncture, research led to romance set up a protocol used around the world was instrumental in creating INTEGRATIVE approach now used around the world they call us the “Paradox.”

I have a truly integrated practice, I am a triathlete and guide my patients on becoming the BEST person they can be. I am a foodie and feel it is key not only what we eat but what we absorb, I have a passion for life My motto is: “I work to keep from overtraining and I train to keep from overworking.”

I feel keeping balance in life is a bit like being on a unicycle. You have to keep learning right, left forward and back to stay balanced, it is always a dynamic dance, I provide knowledge and lead by example.

So much of the media coverage is focused on the challenges facing women today, but what about the opportunities? Do you feel there are any opportunities that women are particularly well positioned for?
Women can do anything they want to do if they believe in themselves. I had a career change at almost 40 years old, I had a passion to learn a medicine that got me my life back. I truly believe that we have choices and we should never go quietly.
