Meet Trailblazer Hannah Harder

Today we’d like to introduce you to Hannah Harder.

So, before we jump into specific questions about what you do, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I have a deep love for three things: God, people, and authenticity.

In the past few years, I’ve launched a ministry, worked in sports radio, interned at one of the fastest-growing churches in the nation, graduated from college, and worked as a skills advisor for adults with special needs.

These diverse experiences led me to found 3am Conversations.

I have always been an observer and a learner, and I love hearing people’s stories, it’s through our personal narratives that we realize we are not that much different.

I am on a journey to bring the honesty of the 3am hour into my everyday life, and through authentic stories, hope-filled resources, and speaking I hope to inspire others to do the same.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
I have definitely had my challenges. I public speak a lot, but I used to have a terrible fear of it and a lot of deep-rooted insecurities. I also struggle with people-pleasing. Over the past few years, I have learned that you cannot be all things to all people, that will only lead to burn out. My advice to anyone starting out would be, do not live out of your fears, but live from your faith. There will always be a reason why you can’t do something, but to choose courage in the face of adversity is always worth it.

We’d love to hear more about 3am Conversations.
I have dabbled in a couple of different types of media, but my favorite and my specialty is writing and speaking. As a brand, our heart and passion is seeing people set free from their fears and shame through embracing authenticity and walking in their true identity. I personally, love writing and speaking on those topics. There is no greater joy than seeing someone have a lightbulb moment and realize who they actually are. What sets us apart is our call to action and our pursuit to truly see our readers lives changed from the inside out.

Finding a mentor and building a network are often cited in studies as a major factor impacting one’s success. Do you have any advice or lessons to share regarding finding a mentor or networking in general?
When I wanted to find a mentor, I looked to where I want to see myself in 5-10 years. I found someone is doing what I want to do and I learned from them. If you are passionate about something, go find someone who is an expert in the field and has a desire to lead others.
