Meet Trailblazer Lin Patten

Today we’d like to introduce you to Lin Patten.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Lin. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I have always loved fashion and was lucky enough to have a good friend who worked for this great boutique, Garbarini. From time to time, they needed part-time help and I was happy to fill in. Eventually, I was working full time at the shop and began helping my regular clients with their closets and wardrobes outside the store. As demand for the closets services grew, I saw the opportunity to take the leap.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
When I was thinking of starting my own business, I reached out to women I admired. I was surprised and grateful to find how willing these women were to help me. I learned so much by just sitting down with women that inspired me.

Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Style by LP – what should we know?
As a clothing stylist, I work with women to help them optimize their own personal style. With an understanding that style is very personal to the individual, I work through collaboration and close attention to detail to meet my client’s needs. My services are tailored to make each client lover her clothes and feel good every day as she takes on the world. With over 20 years of experience in the fashion industry, I know that no two clients are the same, and I’m committed to bringing this experience and perspective to each person I work with. I help clients update their style to meet their day to day activities whether it’s business or personal, dress for a special occasion, or pack for a weekend getaway.
