Meet Trailblazer Michelle Anne

Today we’d like to introduce you to Michelle Anne.

So, before we jump into specific questions about what you do, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I developed The Masters Course as a vehicle to give others real tools to transform yourself from what you are, into what you want to be. Unhappy to happy, anxious to peaceful and content, from living in darkness to living in the lightness. Around 40, I found myself undeniably unhappy and couldn’t understand why. I didn’t know what to do to be happy. My life felt chaotic, and I didn’t even know if peace existed. The very thought of peace would make tears come to my eyes. I got to the point that I couldn’t move forward. I had over 40 foo allergies, my husband and I fought all the time, my kids were focused on not wanting to make me mad, my friends were sick of my story! I needed to understand what I was doing that was creating this sadness and unhappiness. I needed to find a real answer. On the surface, I was living the dream, married, traveling around the world, beautiful 5 kids (blended family), not working, 2 homes, what else could I ask for?

I set out to find my answer. I traveled the world and studied with thought leaders such as Jon Kabat-Zinn (the founder of The Center for Mindfulness at UMASS Medical and his world-renowned, Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction program, Yogi Amrit Desai (International Grand Master of Yoga, and founder Kripalu, the largest wellness center in the world, also a pioneer in bringing Hatha yoga to American in the 60’s, Swami Chidanand Saraswati a true Saint, Heidi Hanna, Executive Director of The American Institute of Stress, Dr. Srini Pillay, at Harvard University, a Brain Researcher and International Leadership Development Specialist, among others.

I was on a mission. And I did it! I learned how to transformation myself.

I dove in, applied all the theory’s, tools and frameworks. I stumbled, failed, gave up, started again, and finally found what I was looking for; Peace! Contentment, an ability to be love. An ability to feel love in a different way than ever before.

I used this knowledge, first-hand experience and created a truly transformative approach to becoming increasingly relaxed, aware, effective, innovative, confident, resilient, stable, agile, successful and peaceful. OMG we all need this!

The professional program has been studied by CU Denver and has unbelievable proven results for reducing stress, increasing emotional intelligence, effectiveness and creating a new possibility (growth) mindset.

As a Master Executive NeuroCoach, I work with senior leaders to housewives on re-wiring unconscious behaviors, increasing social and emotional intelligence and creating a growth mindset to create the life you want.

I offer keynotes, seminars, and courses. This is truly transformational NeuroCoaching. Clients leave with huge smiles, relaxed shoulders, a new perspective. People say they feel peace, change, and transformation at the core level. I am routinely told, that my sincerity and devotion has change changed them more than they can say in words.

Has it been a smooth road?
The road has NOT been smooth. Challenge after challenge, physical, mental, emotional, financial, you name it; from loss of a child, infidelity, controversial divorce, jobless and kicked out of my home, remarried, 40+ food allergies, endometriosis on my bladder, being mugged, more infidelity and a second divorce days after I was mugged at knifepoint. These experiences have provided me the opportunity to look at who I am, what I want out of life, and why I am here.

While working with my guru, Amritji, I learned to choose me for the first time in my life. I realized I am important, and who I am as a person is important. I began to choose me. And there was no turning back. My not choosing me led to my ugly perception of myself. My life and this choice had to change.

During my journey, my core beliefs were continuously challenged and in what seemed the hardest challenges, I would sit in meditation with my fear, and sit, and cry and finally come to the fact that I had a choice.
I could choose the past behavior and beliefs and what they brought with them, or I could re-choose the new behavior (what I now teach) and keep going.

Funny thing is, I realized, even if I choose the past behaviors (out of fear), every minute was another minute I could choose something different. This awakened me, to the realization that I was in control of everything I did. and I for the first time, I felt safe and stable.

At this point, I looked at who I want to really be (in an unlimited sense) and what I want to bring to the world, I choose that, and here I am.

I did. I choose what I want out of life. And when I choose, I mean it. It was the best thing I have ever done. I choose to share this with you.

Previous, my nature was to listen to others, please others (to gain their acceptance). and put my needs down. I didn’t matter. I am not important.

With the honorary title of Acharya (one who teaches by how they live) given by my guru, and the name Shakti (life force energy- also given by my guru), I ventured out to develop and cultivate (and overcome more challenges as I created) The Masters Course. Many call me courageous, wise, engaging, strong, genuine, honest, and love.
