Today we’d like to introduce you to Rose Stein.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
My road to becoming a Business Coach took many twists and turns. I am grateful for all of them. I received my B.A. from Indiana University. At the time I was laser-focused on going to law school. After clerking for a judge (one of the most prestigious internships I could ever get), a realization hit me like a ton of bricks; I didn’t want to go to law school anymore. So what was I going to do? Throughout undergrad, I found myself gravitating towards marketing, social media, and helping the groups I was a part of utilize social to amplify their message and engagement. The following summer I ended up getting a job with the owner of the largest yoga social media account in the world. I packed my bags and headed to Aruba where I helped create the largest yoga center in the Caribbean. It was then that I realized the real power of growing a business online. I knew that Aruba wasn’t forever and that my heart really belonged in Colorado. So, once again, I packed my bags and headed to the mountains. No job. No friends. No real plan. Just a calling to the Mountains, like many of us get. Pretty quickly I ended up getting a job at a badass advertising agency in Boulder. I was helping multi-million dollar companies create their marketing and advertising strategies. I learned so much during my time there, but at a certain point I wasn’t feeling fulfilled. I realized that I wanted to use these same skills that I used with these big companies to help young female entrepreneurs make the income and impact they are craving. I wanted freedom. I wanted flexibility. I wanted to help others get the same. I left my 9-5, booked a ticket to Bali, became a certified Yoga Teacher and Certified Coach, and hit the ground running. Now I help women from all over the world make a living doing something they LOVE and I am the happiest I have ever been. Sometimes it feels like a dream. I learned that with the right mindset and strategy you can do anything you want. Your dreams become possible the second you decide you want them to be real.
Has it been a smooth road?
The road to success is never perfectly smooth. Nor should it be. That’s what makes your success so much more rewarding. If someone just handed it to you, you wouldn’t appreciate it as much. There are going to be many fears that surface when you are creating your business. It is totally normal. I experienced it myself and I have seen my clients experience it. Whether fear of failure, fear of judgment, or fear of the unknown; the thing to remember is that we create all of these fears in our minds. There is no validity to them. Fear is one of the most paralyzing things that can keep you from success. I focus on mindset with my clients very heavily. Breaking down these fears is so important. What is it costing you to believe these things? Why shouldn’t you believe them? What are these beliefs keeping you from? I tell my clients to give that negative narrative a name so you can address it head on. Give that narrative a reason why you can’t believe these things. Maybe it’s, “every day that I am paralyzed by fear is another day that I can’t help someone out there who needs my services.” Maybe it’s, “believing these fears and negative thoughts aren’t going to help me reach my goals, so it has no place here.” Whatever your “why” is, tell those fears to get out of here! I practice daily positive affirmations and I have my clients do the same. What is a new belief that you can create to combat the fear? Write it down daily. Say it to yourself in the mirror. Do whatever you need to do to start believing your new belief over your fears. This will put you YEARS ahead and will escalate your success.
Please tell us more about your work, what you are currently focused on and most proud of.
I am a Business Coach for young female spiritual entrepreneurs. I specialize in marketing and business strategy as well as creating a powerful mindset and spiritual practice for your business. I have found that you need both spirituality and strategy in order to be successful. Combining both for my clients has skyrocketed their success so quickly! They are doubling, tripling, and even 5x their income because of the work we have done together. Their success is what I am most proud of. I am so grateful every day that I get to help young badass women become successful in doing something they love!
What’s the most important piece of advice you could give to a young woman just starting her career?
Trust your intuition. If something doesn’t feel right, don’t just do it because you think it’s what you have to do in order to get from point A to B. Your intuition is POWERFUL and shouldn’t be ignored. The more you trust it, the more it will lead you down the right path! The times when I have trusted my intuition over my fear has lead me to the most incredible opportunities and successes.
