Thanks for sharing your story with us Becca. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
The heart and passion behind Veils of Vail started with a long-held dream and the determination to combine my love of weddings and design, all things beautiful and lovely, and my heart for serving others into a career I am deeply passionate about. After planning my own wedding in Austin, Texas, back in 2012, I became fascinated with the endless possibilities of wedding color palettes and designs, fragrant, lush flowers, planning out sweet, subtle surprises, and all the little details that go into planning a momentous and joyous occasion. I knew this was a passion that I wanted to make into a career.

I envisioned myself getting to create and experience the excitement of an ever-evolving industry, captivated and rooted in celebrating love and commitment over and over again, and the opportunity to work with couples who needed someone by their side to make their wedding dreams come to life, just as I had done with planning my very own dream wedding.

Getting started, I spent a couple of years observing and assisting with weddings and events, gaining crucial knowledge, organization skills, and first-hand experience. This experience truly shaped me into the planner I am today, having the mindset of always being prepared for anything while being the calm and collected presence my clients and creative team need on a busy and bustling wedding day. From there with the support of my family and mentors, hard work and determination, and moving to Vail, Colorado, after an incredible job offer my husband was offered, I poured my heart and soul into creating Veils of Vail and embraced my life as a wedding and event planner. As a wife, mom, sister, aunt, friend and entrepreneur, year after year, it still feels like a dream that I have built my very own wedding planning company that I am incredibly proud of. I am forever grateful for the supportive and inspirational wedding industry professionals, I have had the opportunity to work with, and for the couples that have entrusted me with the honor to be their wedding planner.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Being an entrepreneur and business owner is a never-ending hustle. One that I am happy to pour every ounce of my professional, hard-working self into. Every email, call, or text from my clients or creative professional is important to me, and I make myself available to them whenever possible. I feel that is what sets Veils of Vail apart and gives my clients that sense of comfort and service they desire in their wedding planner. I have many personal and business goals and am inspired by the leading wedding and event industry professionals to always keep growing my brand and company. Although balancing work and family life can be chaotic at times, passion and hard work are in my blood, and if it takes many late nights and working days on end, it is all worth it to help provide a wonderful life for my family here in Vail, Colorado!

Veils of Vail is a wedding planning and event design company based in Vail, Colorado, specializing in working with couples from all over the country and beyond planning a destination, Aspen, Breckenridge, Vail, and Beaver Creek Colorado wedding. Our planning and coordination services are designed for the professional working couple getting married in the Colorado Rocky Mountains looking to hire a local Vail wedding planner to connect them with the best of the best creative partners in the local wedding industry, manage the difficult logistics of planning a destination wedding in any Colorado season, and have our professional guidance to keep the planning process right on track. We also love planning and designing events of all kinds, including local and destination bachelor and bachelorette parties, fundraisers, and over the top birthday celebrations.

What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
One of the most proud moments of my career was having Veils of Vail listed as a preferred vendor for multiple Vail Area Wedding Venues. To me, that is the biggest compliment I could receive as a wedding planner.
