Today we’d like to introduce you to Vinny Nguyen.
Hi Vinny, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today.
I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management in Vietnam in 2011.
Then I moved to the USA while pursuing an engineering degree, I was starting the beauty industry as a nail technician, then quickly moved up as a Lash artist and microblading artist. In 2018, I earned a Chemical and Biological Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines. Instead of pursuing a career as an engineer, I decided to run my first business myself in July 2028, called Timberline Nails and Lashes. After 4 years of running a business, I decided to build RoyCé Spa.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
No, it’s been a tough road. Finance, human management, customer satisfaction.

RoyCé Spa is the first high-end beauty spa in Fort Collins. With over 4,000 square feet of treatment rooms, we are also the most spacious, offering a wide array of services including Medical Spa laser resurfacing and injections, Lash Extensions, Eyebrow Microblading Microshading, and luxury nail care. Our staff has extensive training and many years of experience in the industry.
In order to maintain a relaxing and luxurious experience, each of our services is neatly sectioned in specific areas with 35 luxury pedicure chairs in three separate rooms. We offer wine, champagne, and beer and can host group parties from five to twenty people for special events. Our Lash, Brows, and Aesthetics room can accommodate up to eight clients and is constantly maintained at the highest sanitary levels (DENTAL AUTOCLAVES). Above all else, RoyCé Spa is committed to the utmost level of customer service and customized care.
If we knew you were growing up, how would we have described you?
Since I was a kid, math and science were always my strongest subjects in school, I wanted to be a scientist.
Then, when I was in high school, I realized I enjoyed working around a lot of people like customer service, or management. So I chose hospitality management as my major in Vietnam, moved to the USA, and realized I enjoyed the beauty industry. Seeing all clients happy, beautiful, and self-confident before leaving the shop. I decided to choose this industry as my career.
