Meet Will Savoie of Broken Sleep Collective

Today we’d like to introduce you to Will Savoie.

Will, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
Broken Sleep Collective was birthed through friendship, creativity and shared passions. We began in a small basement with basic equipment and a tireless dedication to building a strong artistic presence in Denver. Our team has nearly two decades of background in many areas including music production, live performance, mixing, mastering, licensing, photography, and videography. We are currently in the process of establishing our second outpost in the Los Angeles area, giving us a further reach and allowing us to grow our community exponentially.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Of course, with any business endeavor there are challenges that present themselves at any given corner. It can be something as small as a frayed microphone cable, ranging all the way to cancelled tours due to circumstances beyond our control. And naturally, there are innumerable sleepless nights that come along with building a business such as this. Which is why we thought “Broken Sleep Collective” would be the perfect name for us. Powering through those challenges is part of the fun when it comes to our craft. There will always be difficulties in any field, but overcoming them puts gas on the fire for us.

Please tell us about the company.
Our company provides a wide spectrum of offerings in the creative world. Our mission statement is: paving the pathway to exceptional art. In that, we create unique musical projects that span a wide range of genres including Commercial Pop, EDM, Hip-Hop, and Jazz. We offer exclusive music licensing services for TV shows, movies, and commercials; creating an authentic sound that you won’t hear anywhere else. In addition, we provide mixing and mastering services to any project that may need them. Some of our recent projects have even included mastering audiobooks for local authors and publishing companies.

Beyond licensing, we strive to add substance to the local music scene in Denver. When venues are booming once again, you can certainly expect us to be booking showcases and performances for our artists.

In the end, our goal is to help artists and companies improve their craft. Broken Sleep Collective is ever-growing and ever-changing. When you work with us, you become part of our family of artists.

Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
There are two characteristics that I believe are crucial to success: authenticity and dedication. No one wants to work with someone who isn’t 100% committed to the cause. With industries like music and visual art, the thing that sets a company apart is bringing their A-Game to every project they take on. In a field where it is hard to find people to depend on, we strive to be trustworthy in our craft.
