Meet Winter Clark of Source and Stone in Washington Park

Today we’d like to introduce you to Winter Clark.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
The kind of work that I do today really began when I was a child. As a third generation intuitive, I developed gifts at an early age and was super lucky to have grown up in a home where psychic gifts were embraced. As I grew older, so did my abilities! My parents were very supportive and I explored the many facets of intuition. However, at one point, I did experience something that shook me…enough to make me try to suppress who I was and what I do. I took on the existence of the everyday world, graduating college and getting various full time jobs. I became married, divorced and eventually settled into my new life until one day I heard that my grandmother had passed away.

Knowing that my mother rarely used her abilities and I was suppressing mine, I decided it was time to embrace them. After all, it was a gift that I knew could really help people who struggle to connect to Spirit and with the energy that’s around all of us! I began my journey back to who I truly was and am by remembering all of the things I used to do; reconnecting with my intuition, with nature and with Spirit. As I did, I began to meet people who were looking for a similar connection to their higher selves, for guidance and for clarity in their lives.

Once I decided to reclaim my intuitive abilities to help others, I quickly began developing different classes and courses for those who were seeking help with the same…because we’re all intuitive! I also began to work with the people around me one on one, to help them gain forward momentum in their lives. A book was published as a result – called Goddess Grows Up: You are the Gift – as a way to provide that same supportive environment and tools for those who have abilities that are awakening.

In the end, I realized that my calling was to help the community around me and this was solidified when I moved to Denver to grow my practice. I haven’t looked back since!

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
When you make a major life decision, not everyone is going to “get it.” And that’s ok! The most important thing is that you follow your heart, because it’s where your personal truth lives.

Please tell us about Source and Stone.
Source and Stone is a way of describing the process when I do readings or energy work. I connect to source energy and channel it, grounding it into the current reality to share the information that’s available to us from our spirit guides and angels.

I do intuitive readings (both Tarot and psychic) and offer Usui Reiki. I also offer Intuitive Soul Guidance counseling sessions, which is a combination of Divine Light energy work and an intuitive reading. I also perform space clearings and blessings for the home and business, as well as releasing ceremonies for those who are struggling to let go of a relationship, place or thing. Monthly, I host a New Moon Goddess circle and occasionally I teach workshops on the Tarot or on strengthening one’s intuitive abilities. There’s so much more coming at the end of the summer as well! I’m excited to share more tools with those around me that might find them to be useful.

I’m most proud of the way that I’ve been able to contribute to the community around me; helping to create unique connections among the people who attend the workshops and circles.

I believe in walking my talk; integrity and authenticity are deeply important to me.

Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
My favorite memory is the first one I can remember of when one of my gifts kicked in. I had a dream around the age of 10 and it was about my sister who had been born before me. She didn’t live long after childbirth and there was no time for my parents to take a picture of her. She appeared to me in the dream as a baby and when I woke up, I ran to find my parents and tell them about it. My dad immediately said “That was your sister” and there were tears in my mother’s eyes. It’s my favorite not because it’s a happy memory but because it’s a poignant one, where I began to realize that I was able to “see” things.
