Today we’d like to introduce you to Luis Felipe Rodriguez.
Hi Luis, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Since I was a child, feminine beauty and enhancing the beauty of women has called my attention. In my country of birth, Venezuela, beauty pageants are part of our idiosyncrasy, which led me to venture into the area of makeup and styling at the age of 20. As time passed, love and curiosity about the subject led me to perfect my craft every day until great influential people in the field of beauty saw my potential to enter the ranks of the pageants at the age of 25, I began in what today became my passion and my career, great personalities of the entertainment world and beauty queens has posed under my brushes to this day.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
The truth is that the road has been very calm. God has placed wonderful people in my life since the very first moments, that is why the doors of each place open for me.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am a makeup artist, stylist, and I direct the look of women to appear more radiant on all occasions. Thanks to my work in all the beauty pageants such as MISS VENEZUELA, MISS EARTH, MISS INTERNATIONAL as well as all the important regional pageants that are held in my country; I am known as “The makeup artist of the Misses” this has led me to be interviewed by regionals and nationals magazines, newspapers and the main television programs in Venezuela and even to be awarded as one of the most influential people of 2020 in my hometown VALENCIA, I think taking my dedication to the extreme in what I do to achieve an almost a perfect job is what differentiated me from others.
Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
It makes me completely fill with joy to see the happy faces of each woman looking in the mirror when I do their makeup and hair. I feel that the self-esteem of each person is important and seeing that the result of my work, makes them feel more confident and empowered is my greatest satisfaction.
