What do the first 90 minutes of your day look like?

Coffee? Workouts? Hitting the snooze button 14 times?  Everyone has their morning ritual and we LOVE hearing about them.  Some of our favorite members of the community share their morning rituals below.

Katon Patel

The first 90 minutes of my day are sacred. I wake up early, before the world gets loud. I believe how you start sets the tone for everything else. My mornings follow a rhythm: movement, mindset, and momentum. First, I move. Whether that’s a workout or stretching, to energize my body. Read more>>

The first 90 minutes of my day are the quiet workitime minutes…I am fresh and ready to think through my day. The first 90 minutes is generally when I do my website work, write newsletters, dream up new classes and camps. The quiet of the day is when I do my best work. Read more>>

With how busy my days get, I like to start them slow. It usually starts early-early, but I take a moment to let the puppers out, make coffee, sit down, breathe, and pet them while I take my royal time to start the day on my terms. It’s glorious and you should try it. Read more>>

Ya know. It’s coffee and working on writing tunes. A few sips of joe and hoping some good idea come my way. I find it to be the best time to start to write a tune. Sit out in the sun with the dog, drink some coffee and strum the guitar. Read more>>

I start with self love every day. I wake up and immediately meditate for 10-20 minutes. I have breakfast and a warm cup of tea. I workout for an hour which includes yoga or qigong, lifting weights and walking or biking. Read more>>

I wake up at 4:30 and immediately question why I do this to myself, then make coffee and sit in the quiet for thirty glorious minutes before the world starts making noise. After that, I wake my kids and spend the next stretch of time alternating between loving encouragement and yelling like a drill sergeant until breakfast is finally on the table. Read more>>

My dog, Butters, wakes me up by jumping on the bed. And like a perfect alarm clock he then cuddles up and goes to sleep for 10 more minutes before licking my face telling me it’s time go out. I kiss my sleeping wife, get dressed and take him out. Read more>>
